The most anticipated hiking festival in the Girona Pyrenees is back: from October 3 to 5, 2025, Ripollès Discovery Walking invites you to experience autumn among orange and red landscapes, vibrant forests, and unique experiences.
A broad program for all tastes
This year, the festival offers 11 guided trails with varying degrees of difficulty, allowing everyone to enjoy Ripollès: from family outings to high-mountain challenges.
Hike options include:
The Oliba Walk (13.4 km – Molló, Espinavell, Fabert), the Batega el Bac excursion (8 km in Planoles)
The iconic climb up Coll de Tres Pics and lunch at Coma de Vaca
The botanical excursion to Vallfogona

One of the main attractions of the 2025 edition is its inclusivity, with activities designed so everyone can participate: the inclusive orienteering circuit in Setcases and the “Ripoll, Moments of History” route, guided by people associated with the MAP Foundation. There are also practical workshops such as the Touch-and-Touch of Nature Trails with a tasting of local products (Mas La Sala), ideal for families, children, and curious people of all ages.

The festival combines nature and culture: highlights include the Iron and Water Route in Campdevànol (discovering the industrial, textile, and metallurgical heritage), an immersion in the medieval center of Vallfogona with its travertine, and a visit to the monasteries of Ripoll and Sant Joan de les Abadesses. It also coincides with the Camprodon Biscuit Fair, concerts, and parallel activities.
